The Boathouse

Jeanine and I had Brunch at the Boathouse in Central Park! The food was absolutely delicious and the weather was gorgeous (just look at picture 1). We were so hungry, which explains why the bread/croissant/muffin basket and our desert were the only things we took picures of. The Boathouse is famous for their crabcakes and trust me, they did not disappoint!

Before brunch we went shopping at Saks. Hovering above the desert, is Jeanine's new rose gold Michael Kors watch. It is sooooo beautiful, I love it. In the words of Rachel Zoe, "I Die"!

Teen Vogue Fashion U

Anna Wintour gave the opening remarks!!!

The Teen Vogue Editors! They were so precious!
I am in love with Eva Chen's (3rd from the left) shoes!

Hanneli, Sea of Shoes, Atlantis Home, The Streetpeeper
It was so exciting to hear from the superstars of our blogging world.

Jenna Lyons did a presentation on "Steering the J.Crew Brand"
She was so down-to-earth and embodies everything J. Crew! She talked about everything from dream collaborations with Louboutin to J. Crew going international (FINALLY!)
Zac Posen! He is so charismatic and very honest about the business!
Vera Wang! She was absolutely adorable and so real - I loved hearing her speak.

Jeanine and I had such an amazing weekend at Teen Vogue Fashion U. The weekend was hosted by Teen Vogue at the gorgeous Hudson Theatre (1st picture) and across the street at the Condé Nast building. All the editors, bloggers, models, designers and speakers were friendly, approachable, and most importantly very real and honest about the business! One of my favorite moments of the weekend was when Jeanine and I followed Amy Astley and her editing team to the Condé Nast building! Standing in the elevator and seeing the names of Condé Nast's influential publications illuminate as we passed their floors was so surreal. Another highlight was the opening remarks given by Anna Wintour. Anna gave us a preview of some images from the upcoming issues of Vogue! Her hair is actually that perfect in real life. It was an unforgettable weekend. I'm still shocked at how close we were to fashion's elite.

I have so much more to share from this amazing weekend! Stay tuned!

Good Eats: Los Angeles

I love being a "foodie" in different cities, and trying new restaurants with quality, good food. I wanted to show a few pictures of some of the delicious food I had in Los Angeles this summer! Some places I didn't end up getting any pictures, but nonetheless, I got to try lots of amazing food! - K
This Urth Cafe location may look familiar if you watch Entourage!
Green tea boba (bubble tea) from Urth Cafe. They have great organic coffees and teas, as well as amazing food! Also a great place to spot celebrities.
The seared ahi tuna salad from Toast.
A red velvet cupcake from Toast.
A slice of blue velvet cake from Toast.
A tiny taco from Loteria Mexican Grill in the Fairfax Farmer's Market which is attached to the Grove. The mole sauce was great! I heard about this place from GOOP.
